DMI brings in new technology chief
The digital services provider hires a former coworker of the CEO, who stepped into that role in the spring.
DMI has hired a new chief technology officer in Gary Wang, a two-decade veteran of the government market who joins the digital services provider to shape its tech vision and strategy.
He will also work with DMI's partners and customers on evolving service delivery and technologies to fulfill the latter group's needs, the company said Tuesday.
Wang joins DMI from Peraton, where he most recently was vice president of cloud and application services. He is also a former VP of enterprise solutioning at Science Applications International Corp. and before that worked in tech leadership roles at Unisys, IBM and Lockheed Martin.
In the spring, DMI promoted one of Wang's then-Peraton colleagues in Rocky Thurston to the CEO role from chief operating officer.
