ManTech reveals more on $920M win

Find opportunities — and win them.

ManTech International was cryptic about a pending $920 million award in its most recent earnings report but can now say more with the protest period over.

In its full-year earnings statement last week, ManTech International somewhat cryptically hinted that it was close to securing a potential $920 million award for keeps after the protest cycle ended.

Fast forward to this week and the company can now say more specifics. ManTech said Wednesday that the task order covers work to modernize technology onboard Navy reconnaissance and patrol aircraft.

Herndon, Virginia-based ManTech booked this award on Jan. 31, which signals the contractor has for the most part picked up right where it left off with respect to last year. Revenue grew organically and at an accelerated rate for a fourth straight year and the company sees that continuing in 2020 on increased customer demand in areas like cyber, IT and automation.

Technology for this particular effort includes sensors for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; electronic intelligence processing tools; mission crew workstations; networking and communications equipment; and anti-submarine warfare systems.

The General Services Administration’s FEDSIM acquisition hub awarded the order on behalf of the Navy.
