CenturyLink has promoted David Young, formerly regional vice president of strategic government, to the senior vice president ranks at the global telecommunications company.
A CenturyLink spokesperson confirmed Young’s promotion to Washington Technology. CenturyLink closed its combination with Level 3 Communications in November of last year and unveiled the integrated executive leadership team for the government business in February.
Post-close, CenturyLink has five customer-facing units in its government business and three other groups that extend across the unit. The combined company has 700 people focused on the federal market.
