Space Force expands Sev1Tech's network connectivity contract
This new $188 million follow-on contract tasks Sev1Tech to expand the network to more locations.
Space Force has awarded Sev1Tech a potential $188 million follow-on production contract to help expand a global network that transports data across U.S. military branches and their international partners.
The meshONE-Terrestrial network is designed to link platforms, weapons and other systems as part of the Defense Department’s larger connectivity vision commonly called JADC2.
Under the new contract announced Tuesday, Sev1Tech will work to expand meshONE-T to 85 locations and take on more responsibility for the needed managed transport services and enterprise-wide upgrades.
Sev1Tech’s receipt of this award comes three years after it booked a $47.5 million Space Force contract to develop and demonstrate a data transport-as-a-service platform as part of the meshONE-T initiative.
