ASRC Federal effectively inherits the program through its acquisition of the former Science Applications International Corp. logistics and supply chain business.

ASRC Federal has won a potential 10-year, $500 million contract to continue its supply chain management services at three Navy fleet readiness centers that are home to maintenance, repair, and overhaul work.

This fourth iteration of the Navy Industrial Product Support Vendor Generation contract starts with an initial three-year base period. That is followed by a pair of two-year option periods and another three-year option term, the Defense Logistics Agency said in a Friday award notice.

DLA manages this program on the Navy's behalf to acquire hardware and material management support with an eye toward commercial best practices for sourcing key supplies. The Navy uses those consumable parts to maintain, repair and overhaul weapons systems and other military equipment.

Work will take place at Navy Fleet Readiness Centers at Cherry Point, North Carolina; Jacksonville, Florida; and San Diego.

ASRC Federal effectively inherits the program through its acquisition of a logistics and supply chain business from Science Applications International Corp., which won the current contract in 2014. The acquisition closed in the spring of 2023 at a $350 million valuation.
