Army starts the bidding for $913M logistics contract

This set of basic ordering agreements called "EAGLE II" is available to more buyers than just the Army.
The Army is now ready for industry to start working on and turning in their proposals for the second iteration of a logistics program focused on maintenance, supply and transportation services.
Bids for the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise II set of basic ordering agreements are due to the Army by July 31. EAGLE II will have a $913 million ceiling and is being competed as a total small business set-aside, the Army said in a Sam.gov notice Thursday.
EAGLE II will be available for buyers across the Department of the Army, entire Defense Department, coalition partners, joint bases and international governments.
Version one of EAGLE went to 33 companies in 2012 at a shared potential ceiling of $23.5 billion.
