V2X secures $440M Navy aircraft support contract

The work supports a pair of squadrons going by the nicknames "Bloodhounds" and "Dust Devils."
V2X has secured a seven-year, $440 million contract for aircraft maintenance support services to a pair of Navy weapons development and test squadrons.
Both the VX-30 and VX-31 squadrons are based out of Naval Test Wing Pacific facilities at Point Mugu and China Lake in California. They carry out ground and flight test, airborne flight test support, and experimental operations of manned and unmanned aircraft, weapons and weapons systems for the Navy.
V2X said Wednesday that its legacy company Vertex was awarded the contract for flight-line maintenance, logistics and technical support to the squadrons respectively nicknamed "Bloodhounds" for VX-30 and "Dust Devils" for VX-31.
McLean, Virginia-headquartered V2X was formed in the summer of 2022 out of the merger of Vectrus and Vertex.
