The department's Bureau of Indian Affairs sought human resource and acquisition administration services, among other areas.

The Interior Department's Bureau of Indian Affairs has awarded 19 companies positions on a potential five-year, $200 million contract vehicle for business support and other professional services.

Awardees will provide human resources, acquisition administration and other nonpersonal services to the agency responsible for federal laws and policies related to Native Americans and Alaska Natives.

Interior announced the awards in a series of Sam.gov award notices posted Monday. The department received 42 bids for the contract, according to Federal Procurement Data System records.

Work under the contract is divided into five pools: human resources, project management, acquisition, administrative and financial, and subject matter expertise.

This contract was a brand-new requirement and reserved for companies with the Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise designation.
