$25B VA professional services contract hit with protests
Three companies are challenging how the VA evaluated their bids to join the vehicle called VECTOR.
Several companies are challenging their elimination from the on-ramp competition to join a large, multiple-award professional services contract at the Department of Veteran Affairs.
The Veteran Enterprise Contracting for Transformation and Operational Readiness is a professional services vehicle with a $25 billion ceiling. A total of 68 service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses won a place on the contract in 2017.
Earlier this year, the VA carried out an on-ramp that resulted in awards to 11 companies. We confirmed four of them in late November.
The original round of awards in 2017 had categories of services: management, oversight and improvement, analysis, training, outreach, supply chain, and human resources and staffing.
On-ramp awards only covered the areas of management, oversight and outreach.
Sprezzatura Management Consulting, JSToogood Kizano Corp are the protestors challenging the VA's evaluation of their bids for the on-ramp.
The Government Accountability Office's bid protest docket indicates a decision is due during the first two weeks of March 2023.
