System High wins $150M MDA info security contract

The Missile Defense Agency sought a contractor to help review protected information on the U.S.' missile defense system.
System High Corp. has won a five-year, $150 million contract to work with the Missile Defense Agency on efforts related to information security and counterintelligence.
MDA received five proposals for the contract covering broad advisory and assistance services in support of the agency's management of the U.S.' missile defense system, the Pentagon said Friday.
Contract work will include classified and controlled unclassified information review and disclosure assistance, document declassification, technology transfer and munitions export/import licensing support.
System High and MDA will seek to ensure program protection and assistance is in place for emergency management situations.
Other areas of focus for the contract include security development, implementation, testing and maintenance.
MDA awarded the contract as part of its broad procurement initiative called TEAMS -- Technical, Engineering, Advisory and Management. That is the agency's mechanism for acquiring administrative and acquisition support from industry.
