Vital Edge Solutions' cofounder is joining the DIS team as the buyer looks to expand its IT practice.
Dynamic Integrated Services has acquired a fellow IT and professional services provider to further position for larger contracts and build out offerings in areas such as modernization and management consulting.
Vital Edge Solutions brings to DIS a history of work at the Health and Human Services and Veterans Affairs departments. Some other key clients for Vital Edge include the Federal Aviation Administration, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and Small Business Administration.
Terms of the transaction announced Wednesday were not disclosed, while Vital Edge’s cofounder David Lieberman has joined DIS as chief technology officer and will lead the push to expand its IT practice.
Lieberman and his partners started Vital Edge in 2011 as a provider of IT modernization, data management and other enterprise solutions to government agencies.
DIS has recorded approximately $18.4 million in unclassified prime contract revenue over the trailing 12 months with the Veterans Affairs Department representing 91% of that spend, according to USASpending.gov figures.
