Mythics buys Three Wire's tech resale business
One Equity Partners acquired majority ownership of Mythics in late 2022 and this is the company's first transaction since then.
Mythics has acquired the technology resale business of Three Wire Systems in a move to further build out the former’s lineup of open source, cloud and security technologies available to public sector buyers.
That business is becoming a part of Emergent, a subsidiary of Mythics that operates as an IT solutions provider and value-added reseller. Terms of the transaction announced Tuesday were not disclosed.
Emergent cites its lineup of commercial tech partners as including Red Hat and Adobe, while the Mythics parent touts itself as a provider of Oracle-centric solutions. Three Wire’s partnership network includes the likes of Dell, Broadcom, Zscaler, Ping and others.
For Mythics, this acquisition represents its first since One Equity Partners acquired majority ownership of the company in December 2022. Mythics came in at No. 61 on the 2024 Washington Technology Top 100 rankings.
Both Emergent and the Three Wire resale business trace their starts to 2006.
With this divestiture, Three Wire is looking to place more emphasis on growing across what it calls the holistic health and digital service markets. Three Wire’s flagship offering there, called MyAdvisor, provides holistic wrap around care to both individuals and families with access to one-on-one care coordination sessions.
