Synergy ECP further builds out cyber portfolio with acquisition
Synergy ECP also is using this transaction to gain more of a presence at national laboratories.
Synergy ECP has completed an acquisition that continues its work to further bolster the company's cybersecurity footing across defense and intelligence agencies.
The purchase of SPYROS Information & Technology Consulting also includes a portfolio of services for Energy Department national laboratories. Terms of the move were not disclosed.
Synergy ECP is also looking to expand across areas such as critical infrastructure resilience, signals intelligence, computer network operations and 5G technologies.
“SPYROS strengthens our ability to provide critical cyber solutions through an industry-leading team, years of unique past performance, and new contract vehicle access,” Synergy ECP's founder and chief executive Bruce Howard said in a release Tuesday.
Private equity firm Falfurrias Capital Partners acquired Synergy ECP in the fall of 2023 and has supported two acquisitions since, including SPYROS and the March addition of SoftTech Solutions.
Evergreen Advisors Capital acted as SPYROS’ financial adviser in the transaction.
