ASRC Federal moves quickly on next acquisition
ASRC Federal is also working to close its $350 million purchase of the Science Applications International Corp. logistics and supply chain business.
As ASRC Federal moves ahead with one large acquisition, it has completed a second more focused on areas of technology and related professional services to federal agencies.
ASRC Federal's purchase of Broadleaf adds approximately 600 employees whose customer base includes the Army, Navy, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, and other civilian agencies. Terms of the transaction announced Monday were not disclosed.
"This acquisition strengthens and expands our presence within key DoD agencies while also providing growth opportunities with new customers," said ASRC Federal President and CEO Jennifer Felix.
Broadleaf was founded in 2009 and owned by a parent Native Hawaiian Organization. The company touts some of its core specialty areas as including cybersecurity, digital forensics, cloud computing, general IT, the DevSecOps software development practice, and other offerings centered around the ServiceNow product.
That closed acquisition comes one month after ASRC Federal announced its agreement to buy the Science Applications International Corp. logistics and supply chain business for approximately $350 million.
Both ASRC Federal and SAIC expect to close their transaction during this spring.
The McLean Group acted as exclusive financial adviser to Broadleaf, which also looked to Hirschler Fleischer as legal adviser. Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP acted as legal adviser to ASRC Federal.
