CGI Federal promotes new Navy, Marine Corps business leader
This is one of a few executive appointments for the tech consultant's U.S. government arm.
CGI's U.S. government subsidiary has promoted a new leader for its Navy and Marine Corps business sector in Bruno Pesanti, a three-decade government and commercial technology veteran.
He also will work in a dual title of vice president of consulting services at CGI Federal, the company said Thursday. The Navy and Marine Corps business resides within the subsidiary's defense, intelligence and space business unit led by Senior Vice President Horace Blackman.
“His record of innovation and growth across commercial and government organizations brings real value and insight to our partnerships with large and complex civilian, military and national security clients at the federal level," Blackman said in a release.
Pesanti joined CGI Federal in 2021 through its acquisition of Array, where he was IT director and senior solutions executive. His career also includes a stint as chief technology officer for Technatomy Corp. and and executive roles at the former InfoZen.
In that announcement of Pesanti's promotion, CGI Federal also said it elevated space and intelligence sector head Errol McEachron to the dual rule of senior vice president of consulting services.
Alfred Fraser was also elevated to a vice president post for consulting services. He is a retired Army senior non-commissioned officer with nearly four decades of experience.
