The executive currently in that role will move into another focused on overall corporate strategy.

L3Harris Technologies has hired a new president for its integrated mission systems segment in Jon Rambeau, who will join on Oct. 17 after nearly two decades at Lockheed Martin.

He will oversee a nearly $7 billion-annual revenue entity that designs and builds airborne and maritime intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms, along with a portfolio of mission equipment.

Rambeau steps into the position currently held by Sean Stackley. In its release Monday, L3Harris said Stackley will move to senior vice president of strategy and growth also on Oct. 17.

Stackley's new role sees him responsible for combining strategy, U.S. and international business development, and program excellence activities with the goal of driving organic and inorganic growth.

Currently at Lockheed, Rambeau works as vice president and general manager of the integrated warfare systems and sensors business unit.
