WidePoint Corp. appoints a new chief financial officer whose three-decade career includes leadership over 32 acquisitions of publicly-traded and privately-held businesses.

Mobile technology integrator WidePoint Corp. has hired a new chief financial officer in Robert “Bob” George, who previously worked in the same capacity at SOS International’s Exovera data analytics subsidiary.

Fairfax, Virginia-headquartered WidePoint said Monday George will join the company on April 1 and succeed Kellie Kim, who announced in November that she planned to retire.

George’s nearly three-decade career prior to Exovera includes stints at Exelis, Computer Sciences Corp., OAO Technology Solutions and AppNet.

He has led the completion of 32 acquisitions over his nearly three-decade career, both of publicly-traded and privately-held businesses.

WidePoint’s offerings include identity and access management, mobility managed services, telecommunications management, IT-as-a-service, cloud computing security, and digital billing and analytics.
