Emergent books $419M Air Force product license pact
The Air Force is using this agreement to consolidate how it acquires Oracle-built core technology products and related maintenance services.
IT solutions reseller Emergent has booked a potential five-year, $419.7 million contract covering the supply of Oracle product licenses to the Air Force.
This second version of the Air Force Oracle Enterprise Software License Agreement covers 15 of that company’s core technology products and Java SE for the service branch to consolidate its maintenance stream, Emergent said Tuesday.
Emergent is a subsidiary of Mythics, which is a key partner and reseller of Oracle’s software and other products to enterprise customers including government agencies. The subsidiary is also the lead contractor for providing Oracle products and services to the Air Force through the NASA SEWP V vehicle.
Under ESLA II, the Air Force also has access to customer services and a catalog that provides discounts for any Oracle core technology products not available via the license agreement.
