Accenture Federal Services clinches a $199 million award to help the Transportation Security Administration bring together three identification systems into a single environment.

Accenture’s U.S. federal subsidiary has secured a seven-year, $199 million contract to work with the Transportation Security Administration on consolidating three identification and credentialing systems into a single environment.

That agency uses those systems to credential approximately 30 million people, including passengers enrolled in the agency’s PreCheck program, transportation workers, airline crews and hazmat vehicle drivers.

In a release Monday, Accenture Federal Services said it will use agile software development and implementation.

“We will continue to deliver secure, seamless support for millions of people in need of TSA credentials, while at the same time modernizing processes to deliver enhanced business value and efficiency,” said Maurine Fanguy, an AFS managing director and head of the company’s Homeland Security portfolio, in a release.
