DCS Corp. promotes one of its executive vice presidents to chief operating officer as the company's current COO retires after 35 years there.

DCS Corp. has elevated one of its executive vice presidents to chief operating officer in Larry Egbert, who joined in 2014 to lead the air-sea forces segment.

The company said Tuesday that Egbert succeeds Randy Washington, who has retired from DCS after 35 years there.

A 25-year Navy veteran, Egbert joined Science Applications International Corp. after his military service as a senior vice president and operations manager.

His roles in the Navy included carrier aviator, test pilot, systems engineer and program manager.
