Cubic realigns defense businesses
Cubic Corp. will go from having three segments to two through a consolidation that sees its defense facing units become one.
Cubic Corp. is realigning its business structure from three segments to having two through a consolidation that will see the two defense facing units become one.
In a release Friday, Cubic said it is forming a new mission and performance solutions segment after combining mission solutions with global defense. The realignment takes effect immediately.
What is now Cubic Mission and Performance Solutions will focus on technologies and other related services in the fields of training and C4ISR -- Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.
As part of the realignment, San Diego-based Cubic has appointed its former global defense president in Michael Knowles to lead the new segment. Knowles joined in 2014 and has led that segment for the past two years.
Michael Twyman will leave the company after nearly six years there and the past two as president of mission solutions.
