All done: NIH's IT arm wraps up CIO-SP3 SB on-ramp awards

Find opportunities — and win them.

With this new round of awards, the National Institutes of Health's IT acquisition shop completes the on-ramp process for the CIO-SP3 Small Business contract.

The National Institutes of Health has revealed the newest and last list of 244 winners for the on-ramp of the $20 billion CIO-SP3 Small Business contract for IT integration and outsourcing support services.

NIH’s IT Acquisition and Assessment Center announced awards for the general small business category in this notice posted Monday to Beta.Sam.Gov, which indicates three more companies made the cut from an initial batch of 241 qualified bidders disclosed in March.

Qualified bidders, or “apparently successful offerors,” had to wait on any potential challenges to their small business size status before the awards were finalized.

With this latest round, NITAAC completes the on-ramp process for the CIO-SP3 contract’s small business portion.

NITAAC finalized the 8(a) portion of the on-ramp at 100 companies last year, while the HUBZone and service-disabled veteran owned categories were wrapped up in 2018.
