ComSovereign Corp. has appointed a new chief financial officer in the wake of its merger with Drone Aviation to create a more formidable player in the emerging 5G market.
In a release Wednesday, ComSovereign said that Brian Mihelich became CFO in a move that took effect Jan. 2. He succeeds former CFO Kendall Carpenter, who will stay with the company and oversee financial matters related to Drone Aviation’s business operations.

Most recently, Miheilich was vice president of managed services at Ericsson.
ComSovereign also announced that Kevin Sherlock joined the company as general counsel and secretary, also effective Jan. 2. Sherlock is a co-founder of the law firm Heurlin & Sherlock PC and focused primarily on business litigation, securities arbitration and secucrity clearance matters.
