Four companies have won seats on a five-year, $300 million contract to perform IT and engineering support work for an Air Force trainer development squadron.
Booz Allen Hamilton, Applied Visual Technology, J.F. Taylor and MES Simulation & Training will compete for task orders over the duration of the contract. The General Services Administration awarded the contract on behalf of the Air Force and announced the winners in a series of FedBizOpps notices July 10.
GSA received eight total offers for the Trainer Development II contract, according to Federal Procurement Data System information. Deltek data indicates Booz Allen was the sole incumbent on the previous contract.
The 502nd Trainer Development Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio Randolph in Texas is responsible for producing classroom training aids, static trainers and other technical training platforms for the U.S. military and foreign military sales customers.
Those systems support training exercises for flying, ground, sea and technical domains.
