Accenture’s federal services subsidiary has won a potential five-year, $79.1 million contract to help the Navy manage an informatics program that incorporates technology into broader policy development and care functions related to health.
The Navy received 11 proposals for the contract to support its Bureau of Medicine and Surgery with technology and other professional support services, the Defense Department said in its Monday awards digest.
Work under the Clinical Healthcare Informatics Program Support contract will include training, system administration, teleradiology, data analytics and communications support tasks. Cambridge International Systems
Solicitation documents indicate that Navy Medicine is looking to use clinical informatics as part of its broader mission to support management of readiness and health.
Accenture Federal Services’ task areas for the contract also include data capture, electronic health records and operational medicine.
