NTT Data books $60M NIH IT support contract

NTT Data books a $60 million contract for IT service desk support to a National Institutes of Health hub.
NTT Data’s federal services subsidiary has booked a five-year, $60 million contract for IT service desk and field services support to one of the National Institutes of Health’s hubs.
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has tasked NTT Data to help implement new technologies and innovations in the agency’s overall IT environment, the company said Thursday.
This work dates back to 2013 when NIAID first tasked NTT Data to help improve customer satisfaction, response times and first contact resolution, plus reduce call-handling times.
NIAID’s overall mission is leading research to understand, treat, and prevent infectious, immunologic and allergic diseases.
