CenturyLink promotes a pair of executives in its government business and added more duties for one leader who was elevated late last year.
CenturyLink said Wednesday it has made a pair of promotions within its government business and added more duties for one executive who was elevated late last year.
Barbara Farnham, former senior director of federal programs, has been named senior director and general manager for special programs with responsibility over sales and account management. The 18-year CenturyLink veteran will lead the company’s relationship with intelligence and other national security agencies.
Meg Coker, who joined CenturyLink in 2011 and more recently led capture management, has moved to the role of senior director for government strategy and will oversee business development, capture and proposal management organizations.
The company also said Zain Ahmed, who leads its federal civilian and law enforcement sales practice, has added responsibility for its cybersecurity relationship with the Homeland Security Department.
All three executives will report to David Young, senior vice president of strategic government.
