Leidos names Albanese health group BD lead
Leidos appoints Jason Albanese to lead business development functions for its health group.
Leidos said Thursday it has appointed 17-year company veteran Jason Albanese as senior vice president of business development for the contractor’s health group.
Albanese will manage the nearly $2 billion-revenue group’s overall business strategy, oversee the business opportunity pipeline and lead work to create partnerships.
Reston, Virginia-based Leidos earlier this week announced it hired former Raytheon executive Tim Freeman to lead BD functions for the defense group.
More recently, Albanese was vice president of business development for operations and logistics solutions in Leidos’ defense group.
He joined Leidos two years ago when the company merged with the former Lockheed Martin information systems and global solutions business, where he led a team of capture and business development proposals responsible for all new pursuits.
Albanese also led cross-corporate strategies for the IS&GS business.
