Accenture federal arm hires CSRA vet Batsakis
Accenture Federal Services hires former CSRA executive George Batsakis as defense and intelligence practice leader.
Accenture Federal Services said Thursday it has hired former CSRA executive and 25-year federal market veteran George Batsakis to head the intelligence and defense practice.
Batsakis' will lead the business' work with the Defense and Veterans Affairs departments, intelligence agencies, military health providers and other federal customers.
More recently, Batsakis was executive vice president and chief growth officer for CSRA prior to its acquisition by General Dynamics in April. He served seven total years at CSRA and briefly joined General Dynamics as chief growth officer role for the newly-combined IT services division including CSRA before his departure from GD June.
He was also executive vice president for the national security group at SRA International, which in 2015 merged with the former Computer Sciences Corp. federal business to form CSRA. Prior to SRA, Batsakis led a defense operating unit at Northrop Grumman.
