Emergent wins $98M DHA Oracle licensing contract
Emergent wins a potential five-year, $98.8 million contract to help DHA migrate its Oracle licenses into a single setup.
Emergent has won a potential five-year, $98.8 million contract to help the Defense Health Agency migrate its Oracle software licenses and previous contracts into a single purchasing mechanism.
DHA received three offers for the contract that seeks to eliminate duplication of Oracle procurement activities. The contract has one base year with four option years and was competed through the NASA SEWP vehicle, the Defense Department said in its Monday contracts digest.
The contract is designed to help DHA deploy an unlimited amount of Oracle software licenses included on the unlimited license portion of the agreement during the unlimited deployment period.
That approach seeks to support DHA’s future state with responsibility for the service military medical treatment facilities.
The ordering period is between Dec. 7 of this year and Dec. 6, 2022.
