MetroStar names SRA, SAIC vet Nixon as chief growth officer
Government IT contractor MetroStar Systems appoints former SRA and SAIC executive Tom Nixon as chief growth officer.
Government IT and consulting contractor MetroStar Systems has hired almost 25-year market veteran Clyde “Tom” Nixon as chief growth officer.
Nixon will focus on aligning the Reston, Va.-based company’s operations with market dynamics and consumer preferences, MetroStar said Tuesday.
His career prior to MetroStar includes roles such as executive vice president and chief growth officer at the former SRA International, plus vice president of business development and marketing for Science Applications International Corp.’s defense solutions group.
More recently, he led his own federal contracting consulting firm Nixon Management Group.
