VT Group adds Townes as CFO

VT Group hires government services market veteran Alicia Townes as chief financial officer in the wake of John Hassoun's CEO appointment.
Defense technology services contractor VT Group has hired government services market veteran Alicia Townes as senior vice president and chief financial officer, the company said Friday.
She was previously vice president and corporate controller at Vistronix under former CEO John Hassoun, who became chief executive of VT Group in September. They led Vistronix through its sale to ASRC Federal last year.
Townes also held senior finance and accounting roles at Sotera Defense Solutions, General Dynamics, Vangent (acquired by GD in 2011) and Deltek.
