VT Group names former Vistronix chief Hassoun new CEO

Defense technology services contractor VT Group has appointed former Vistronix CEO John Hassoun as president and chief executive in a move effective immediately.

Hassoun led analytics and cloud service provider Vistronix over four years and through its 2016 sale to ASRC Federal. He is also on the board of directors for a pair of GardaWorld subsidiaries: GardaWorld Federal Services and GardaWorld Government Services.

His career prior to Vistronix includes co-CEO of ATS Corp. until that company’s 2012 acquisition by the former Salient Federal Solutions, now Salient CRGT. Hassoun held the chief executive post at Global Integrated Security and Olive Group.

After a career as an Air Force program manager, he worked in executive roles at General Dynamics and the former Veridian.

Hassoun replaces Dean Willard, who had served as CEO since April 2015.
