Peraton names Foglesong chief HR officer
Peraton appoints a new chief human resources officer in Laurie Foglesong, who led HR functions when the business was Harris Corp.'s IT division.
Government IT company Peraton has promoted former Harris Corp. human resources executive Laurie Foglesong to chief HR officer.
Peraton is the former Harris IT services business, where Foglesong previously was director of HR. She led the business’ transition from Harris to its new identity under the ownership of Veritas Capital, Peraton said Friday.
Foglesong has also led HR functions over her two-decade career at companies such as Engineering Management & Integration, Ariel Research Corp. and Advanced Switching Communication.
Veritas Capital acquired the Herndon, Va.-based Peraton business in April for $690 million and rebranded it to the current name three months later.
Since that transaction, Peraton has made a series of executive hires that have included CEO Stu Shea in June, followed by a trio of appointments such as Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Wensinger and then Chief Financial Officer John Pitsenberger was named to his role in July.
