CMS signs onto GSA's OASIS services vehicle

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services becomes the latest agency to sign up for the General Services Administration's OASIS professional services vehicle.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has agreed to use the General Services Administration's OASIS contracting vehicle to acquire professional services.

CMS said Friday it signed a memorandum of understanding with GSA to procure the services through both OASIS' full-and-open track and small business set-aside portion.

CMS joins a group of agencies such as the Air Force, Army, Homeland Security Department and Navy that also use OASIS as their primary vehicle for professional services acquisitions.

GSA proceeded on OASIS in 2014 with close to 200 large and small businesses as winners on the almost $60 billion vehicle
