Booz Allen wins $91M Missile Defense cyber contract

Booz Allen Hamilton wins a five-year, $91.5 million contract for cybersecurity and computer network defense support services to the Missile Defense Agency.
Booz Allen Hamilton has won a five-year, $91.5 million contract to help the Missile Defense Agency manage cybersecurity and computer network defense functions.
MDA received two offers for the contract awarded under the agency’s larger Technical, Engineering, Advisory and Management umbrella program. TEAMS has 31 total contracts under its scope and each are stand-alone acquisitions, according to solicitation documents.
Booz Allen is the incumbent for TEAMS’ Cybersecurity Management and Computer Network Defense portion and was first awarded the work in 2014.
Under that area, Booz Allen works with the agency to evaluate potential cyber threats and test vulnerabilities in the Ballistic Missile Defense System. Other areas of IT-related work include information assurance and risk mitigation.
Contract work will take place through August 2022.
