PSC joins, becomes lead US voice in global IT industry trade group

The Professional Services Council joins and becomes the U.S. representative in the global IT consortium World Information Technology and Services Alliance.
The Professional Services Council has joined global IT industry consortium World Information Technology and Services Alliance and will act as lead U.S. representative as a member of WITSA.
PSC will participate in WITSA's activities involving United Nations agencies, work to develop global business relationships and communications with senior government leaders on IT issues.
WITSA is a consortium of close to 80 IT industry groups and the alliance estimates its representation at almost 90 percent of the global information and communications technology market.
Additionally, Martha Dorris of DCI and Alan Balutis of Cisco will lead a PSC working group to guide the group's engagement with WITSA.
Dorris and Balutis will also represent PSC at WITSA’s upcoming World Congress on Information Technology Sept. 10-Sept. 13 in Taiwan.
