DSA builds IT modernization, cloud footprint through PPC acquisition
Data Systems Analysts buys IT consulting provider Project Performance Company to grow IT modernization and cloud computing work.
Professional services contractor Data Systems Analysts has acquired IT and management consulting provider Project Performance Company to add new legacy systems modernization and cloud computing work for federal agencies.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed and PPC will operate out of its McLean, Va. facility as a DSA business unit. Feasterville-Trevose, Pa.-based DSA also sought added footprints in performance budgeting and secure energy management along with PPC's IT offerings.
Founded in 1991, PPC focuses its government IT service offerings in enterprise systems development and integration, information and knowledge management, cybersecurity, information assurance, energy management and environmental sustainability.
PPC brings to DSA customers such as the Justice Department, National Archives, Environmental Protection Agency and state of Virginia.
PPC President and CEO Paul Strasser has joined DSA's leadership team through the deal.
The company's defense and civilian contract vehicles include Encore II, CIO-SP3, RS3, GSA OASIS, JPEO OPETS and GSA Schedules.
