ICF to support Head Start program

ICF Inc. LLC will provide support to the Health and Human Services Department's Head Start program under multiple contracts totaling more than $40 million.
Under the contracts, ICF Inc. will furnish training and technical assistance to the department's Office of Head Start and its state grantees through five-year contracts, company officials said.
The contracts are part of a larger initiative to provide continuous improvement for Head Start and Early Head Start programs. The grants will be administered through Head Start Training and Technical Assistance offices in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
"The agency's new model will enable us to work collaboratively with other early education programs within states to provide enhanced overall support to its Head Start program, its grantees and the early childhood education community," said Barbara Rudin, senior vice president at ICF International.
ICF Inc. is a unit of ICF International, of Fairfax, Va. ICF International provides consulting and technology services to the government and commercial sectors.
