Pentagon chooses 7 for military data collection, analysis contract

Work under this contract directly supports the department's Office of Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation.
Seven companies have won positions on a five-year, $561 million contract to work with the Defense Department organization responsible for advising the secretary on programs and the overall force structure.
Awardees will be responsible for helping the Office of Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation collect and analyze data related to historical, current and future structures of U.S. and non-U. S. military forces.
Work will take place at the Pentagon and Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia, according to DOD’s Friday awards digest.
Companies with spots on the Joint Data and Analytic Support contract are as follows:
- Booz Allen Hamilton
- Bridge Core
- Clarity Innovations
- Deloitte
- KBR
- Leidos (incumbent)
- Tyto Athene (incumbent)
This new contract expands the number of companies involved in work currently performed by Leidos and Tyto Athene on a pair of task orders. Deltek data indicates this orders are slated to sunset in July and December, respectively.
Solicitation documents from April 2025 outline DOD’s intent to use data collected under the contract to inform its future force planning and capabilities requirements.
Also known as CAPE, the Office of Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation is primarily responsible for ensuring that all cost estimation and cost analysis processes across DOD are accurate.
