IRS chooses 7 for $700M data analytics pact
The tax collection agency seeks industry support to help rollout IT solutions for improving its administration efforts.
The IRS has awarded seven companies positions on a five-year, $700 million blanket purchase agreement for services to help the agency further iterate its data modeling and analysis functions.
Awardees will be responsible for helping guide the agency through its rollouts of IT solutions with the goal of modernizing and improving the IRS’ tax administration efforts.
Federal Procurement Data System records list these companies as winners:
- AttainX
- Analytica
- Eagle Technologies
- Elder Research
- Liona Enterprises
- Mission-Insights, a joint venture owned by Greystones and Voyatek
- Purisolve
The IRS awarded the Data Analytics and Innovation Support 2.0 BPA on Dec. 19 and received 15 bids in total, according to FPDS information.
DAIS 2.0 was a total small business set-aside, which means Elder Research was the only incumbent out of six eligible to bid for the recompete.
Booz Allen Hamilton, Brillient Corp., Deloitte, Noblis and Peraton could not pursue the second iteration. The original contract was awarded in the fall of 2018.
