Assured Information Security wins $300M Air Force recompete

The company will continue its support of SecureView, a government-wide standard for enabling remote network access at multiple levels.
Assured Information Security has won a potential 10-year, $300 million contract to continue its role as a main provider of software and hardware for the Air Force’s remote access functions.
The Air Force Research Laboratory received three bids for the Engineering for Virtualized Enterprise and Remote Access Technology program, according to the Pentagon’s Friday awards digest.
Solicitation documents first posted in January 2024 describe EVEREST’s work areas as including research, development, prototyping integration, testing, demonstration, deployment, upgrades, enhancement, sustainment and training of innovative technologies and concepts in support of EVEREST projects.
EVEREST specifically supports SecureView, the U.S. government's current standard for multi-level network access as set forth by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
AIS will be responsible for work to research, develop, sustain and deploy baseline and next-generation capabilities for SecureView. The goal is to help enable greater access, infrastructure, transfer, cloud and storage capabilities for users.
The company first won the work in 2019 when it was known as the VIPER contract, short for Virtualized Intelligence Platform Engineering and Research. AFRL has obligated approximately $99.6 million in task order spend to-date through VIPER, according to GovTribe data.
