TekPro awarded $100M DOD procurement support contract
The Defense Department's administrative and management support agency sought an 8(a) firm to help in all phases of the contract lifecycle.
TekPro Support Services, a provider of such professional and technical offerings to federal agencies, has been awarded a potential $100 million contract to aid in the Defense Department's contract administration functions.
Work will specifically support the department's Washington Headquarters Service, the Pentagon agency responsible for acquiring administrative and management support on behalf of other DOD components and the service branches.
WHS sought an industry partner to help it in all phases of the contract lifecycle from pre- to post-award, DOD said in its Thursday awards digest. TekPro will focus its support on Federal Acquisition Regulations-based contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, and other transaction authorities.
Solicitation documents describe the tasks as including the preparation of solicitation packages and market research, development of funding announcements, assistance in proposal evaluations, and analysis of policy written by DOD and other government acquisition leaders.
The contract was set-aside for 8(a) small businesses. TekPro is an Alaska Native Corporation and part of Bristol Bay Native Corporation's government services group.
