DHA unveils $290M contracting support solicitation

Small businesses have about a month to get their bids in for a contract whose name says it all: Contracting and Acquisition Support Services.
The Defense Health Agency has given small businesses the green light to start working on and submitting proposals for a five-year, $290 million contract for professional services to support DHA's contracting function.
Bids are due by Aug. 30 and DHA will also accept questions regarding the procurement through Aug. 9, the agency said in its Tuesday notice to release the final solicitation.
DHA's name for the contract is self-explanatory – Contracting and Acquisition Support Services. Small businesses of any socio-economic designation are eligible to turn in a bid.
The agency is using the program to acquire contract, procurement, cost and computer analysis, systems engineering, program management, business operations and clerical and administrative support.
Work will take place at DHA offices in Virginia, Colorado, Texas, California and Ohio.
The former Amyx originally won the work in the summer of 2019 via a pair of task orders worth up to $95 million combined.
Tetra Tech took on the incumbency in early 2023 through its acquisition of Amyx, but is not eligible to pursue the recompete.
