Magee Technologies has won a five-year, $175.4 million contract for technical and other professional services to aid in the Navy's aircraft prototyping efforts.
Navy officials sought to hire a small business that could support the service branch division responsible for prototyping activities involving manufacturing, airworthiness, concept demonstration, research, and test and evaluation programs.
A total of three companies submitted proposals for the contract, according to the Pentagon's Monday awards digest.
Magee will be responsible for providing infrastructure, technical and aircraft modification services and installation teams to the service branch's Aircraft Prototype Systems Division.
That team is part of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division’s Prototype, Instrumentation and Experimentation Department.
Solicitation documents also describe the contract's scope of work as including support for IT infrastructure and facilities, along with program analysis and management.
