L3Harris continues legacy F-18 work for Canada's air force
L3Harris Technologies takes in a $482 million contract extension that continues its 35-year support of Canada's Hornet fighter jet fleet.
L3Harris Technologies has won a four-year, $482 million contract extension to continue supporting CF-18 Hornet fighter jets flown by Canada's air force.
The company will provide fleet and program management, maintenance, engineering, logistic support, data management and operational software support.
Work will take place at L3Harris’ Mirabel facility in the province of Quebec, as well as Canadian air force bases at Cold Lake and Bagotville.
L3Harris has supported Canada’s Hornet jets for 35 years, including structural life-extension and systems modernization work.
The company also supports the F/A-18 variant for the governments of Australia, Switzerland, Finland, Spain and the U.S.
