Agile Defense

Jennifer Hosking has joined the Enlightenment Capital-backed digital transformation specialist as vice president of proposal development, a role that involves task order responses and larger complex bids.

Hosking founded and led her own independent proposal and strategy consulting business for around two decades before taking up the director of proposals post at ValidaTek.

In January, Agile Defense announced its combination with fellow Enlightenment portfolio company IntelliBridge.

Chugach Government Solutions

Virginia Robinson, who joined CGS in February as chief legal officer, is stepping into the role of interim president following the departure of Dirk van Der Vaart nine months after his appointment.

Robinson will lead CGS as the federal services provider embarks on an executive search to identify and hire the next president.

The two-decade veteran’s career prior to CGS includes roles at Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation, Amentum and DynCorp International.

Groundswell

Alicia Dube has joined the digital transformation specialist as head of its practice focused on Workday, the human resources software platform that represents one of Groundswell’s key commercial tech partnerships.

Dube most recently held the same role at Accenture’s U.S. federal subsidiary and before that was at Workday itself, including as managing partner for its U.S. federal business.

Groundswell touted Dube’s two-decade career as including experience in federal IT modernization, workforce planning and other complex transformation initiatives.

Nightwing

Yvonne Veravet has joined the cybersecurity and intelligence solutions provider as chief growth officer to help lead its business development function in support of organic growth goals.

Veravet most recently worked in the CGO role at Acclaim Technical Services. Her three-decade career prior to that includes growth and operational leadership roles at ManTech, SC3/Cipher SpecTal and Northrop Grumman.

She is Nightwing’s newest C-level executive hire following the February appointment of noted industry veteran Bob Coleman as CEO.

NobleReach

Sreenivas “Sree” Ramaswamy has joined the nonprofit tech- and talent-focused organization as chief innovation officer following three years as senior adviser to the Commerce Secretary.

As a NobleReach Fellow and in that role, he advised the Commerce Department on incubating innovation to support U.S. national and economic security goals.

Prior to Commerce, he was a partner at McKinsey’s Washington, D.C. office and at the firm’s nonprofit business and economics research arm.

Odyssey Systems

Kevin Kivlan has joined the provider of national security technology, engineering and program management services as vice president of corporate integration.

Kivlan most recently spent two decades at the General Services Administration, including as director for the office of customer care within GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service.

While at FAS, he founded and led the Market Research as a Service program to help acquisition professionals obtain on-demand and customized market intelligence.

Peerless Technologies

Dr. Tony Mitchell has joined the cybersecurity and systems engineering specialist in the dual roles of chief growth officer and chief technology officer.

He is tasked to develop strategies for identifying and capturing new business, as well as working with other executive team members to shape Peerless’ direction and vision.

Also a two-decade Air Force veteran, Mitchell most recently worked as chief technology officer for electromagnetic defensive solutions at Honeywell’s aerospace segment. His industry career also includes roles at CAES, Leidos’ Dynetics subsidiary, BAE Systems’ U.S. arm and Areté.

Science Applications International Corp.

Kathleen McCarthy will join the 24,000-employee company on May 12 as its new chief human resources officer and an executive vice president.

The four-decade HR veteran most recently worked in the chief HR officer role at GE Aerospace’s defense and systems business. She altogether spent eight years at GE businesses.

Her career prior to GE includes four years as chief talent officer at American Express.

Vibrint

Jim Robb has moved up to the chief operating officer position following approximately two years as chief strategy officer at the national security technology integrator.

He has been with Vibrint since the reveal of its current brand and identity in November, following the integration of two heritage businesses.

Robb’s career in government prior to Vibrint includes service as a program executive officer at the National Security Agency and as an Air Force officer.

Xpect Solutions

Jeff Dohman has joined the engineering and network infrastructure services provider as chief financial officer six months after it was acquired by NewSpring Holdings.

Dohman is Xpect’s first C-level executive hire since its sale to NewSpring, which then supported the contractor’s purchase of GovDefender in January.

An 18-year GovCon and finance veteran, his most recent roles include stints as interim CFO for Raft and Groundswell.

Constellis

Colin Kilrain, a retired Navy vice admiral and former assistant to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has joined the board of directors at this risk management and mission support services provider.

Constellis cited Kilrain’s four-decade Navy career as including areas such as national security, special operations and global strategic affairs.

His assignments have included associated director for military affairs at the CIA and commander of NATO Special Operations Headquarters.
