The combined company now touts a 2,000-person workforce and a wider footing across the digital transformation landscape.

Two government technology integrators backed by the investment firm Enlightenment Capital are joining forces in a move to double in size and further diversify the business.

Agile Defense becomes a 2,000-employee company through its combination with IntelliBridge announced Tuesday, of which the terms were undisclosed.

Enlightenment acquired Agile Defense in 2022 and has since supported three of its acquisitions, plus the hire of former Microsoft federal leader Rick Wagner in the fall of 2023.

Reston, Virginia-headquartered Agile Defense’s core focus areas include digital transformation, data analytics and cyber solutions. Agile Defense also touts geographic footings in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

IntelliBridge was founded in 2006 and unveiled that identity to the market in 2020 with Enlightenment’s backing. This company has concentrated its digital transformation work in the market’s homeland security, federal civilian, law enforcement and intelligence sectors.
