A pair of appointments to boards of directors also feature a high-profile consulting firm and a global defense giant.

AlphaSix

Kristin Cooke has joined the provider of cybersecurity, data analytics and IT modernization services as senior vice president of growth.

A three-decade market veteran, Cook will oversee collaboration between AlphaSix’s technical and business teams to position the company. She will focus on growth across departments including Justice, Health and Human Services, and the Treasury.

Cooke’s career includes BD roles at Acuity and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Altamira

Altamira Technologies has appointed Theodore Glusko has joined the defense technology integrator as president following 38 years at RTX, the company formerly known as Raytheon Technologies.

He will report to CEO Jane Chappell as they shape the next phase of Altamira’s strategy. An investor group led by ClearSky acquired Altamira in 2019 and hired fellow Raytheon veteran Chappell in 2011.

Glusko’s most recent position at RTX was vice president of intelligence production solutions.

Aretum

Sean DuGuay has joined the management consulting and mission support services provider as chief growth officer to help shape this next phase of its strategy.

Aretum’s hire of DuGuay follows the promotion of Rohit Gupta to chief executive in May from his prior role as lead technology executive.

A three-decade market veteran DuGuay most recently worked as president at M9 Solutions and before that as principal of national security and defense at Capgemini Global Solutions.

Booz Allen Hamilton

Andrea Inserra will move up to president of the global defense sector on April 1 and join the firm's senior leadership team on that date as well.

Inserra first joined Booz Allen in 1998 and most recently led its aerospace business. succeeds Judi Dotson, who will retire from the firm in June after 35 years there.

Also on April 1, Steve Escaravage will become president of Booz Allen's newly-formed defense technology group. The 24-year firm veteran will continue as member of the senior leadership team.

In his new role, Escaravage will focus on accelerating tech capabilities for the firm's defense clients.

Edgewater Federal Solutions

Bob Amani has joined the enterprise IT and cybersecurity services provider as chief transformation officer with the responsibility of advancing technology and business processes.

This is the second C-level hire Edgewater has announced in December so far, following the appointment of Tom Ferrando as CEO following two years as executive chairman of the board of directors.

A 25-year market veteran, Amani most recently worked in IT strategy and transformation leadership roles at Accenture’s U.S. federal subsidiary.

ManTech

Joanne Sullivan has joined as vice president of growth for the technology integrator’s civilian sector.

The 25-year market veteran most recently worked as chief growth officer at MSAG, also known as MicroSystems Automation Group. That role involved business development, capture and proposal management functions.

Her career also includes capture and BD leadership roles at the likes of ASRC Federal, Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI International and General Dynamics IT.

Sierra7

Kirthi Anantharam has joined this IT and consulting services provider as chief strategy and technology officer, a role that puts him in charge of the company’s overall tech vision.

Anantharam most recently worked as chief growth officer at Customer Value Partners and held leadership roles at Lockheed Martin prior to CVP.

Sierra7 was founded in 2009 and also describes health care solutions as a priority area for the company.

Swingtech

Brett Camet has joined the management and technology consulting services provider as chief growth officer, a role that includes the partnership and opportunity identification functions.

Camet’s three-decade market career includes CGO stints at Global Alliant and Amivero. He also is a former senior vice president from Sev1Tech and Geocent.

Swingtech is a woman-owned, 8(a) small disadvantaged business founded in 2009. The company touts web application development and learning management technologies as among its core focus areas.

Guidehouse

Charles Beard, chief operating officer since the firm’s inception in 2018, will join its board of directors on Jan. 1 after transitioning from his executive responsibilities.

Beard joined Guidehouse’s former parent PwC in 2013 following three decades in roles such as chief information officer at Science Applications International Corp.

Guidehouse announced this new role for Beard amid a busy year for the firm, during which Bain Capital acquired it and more recently John Saad moved up to president.

Lockheed Martin

John Aquilino, a retired Navy admiral and former commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, has joined the global defense giant’s board of directors as an independent member.

Aquilino will also become a part of the panel’s committee on classified business and security.

The three-decade Navy veteran led INDOPACOM from 2021 until his retirement in 2024. His career also includes service as commander of Pacific Fleet, plus commander of Fifth Fleet and Naval Forces Central Command.
