Health, space and sales leadership moves across the market
A pair of companies looking to move further up the middle tier feature, along with a defense tech company's board of directors bringing in two new members.
Doma Technologies
Paul Brubaker, most recently the Veterans Affairs Department’s acting deputy chief information officer for four years, has joined the health technology solutions provider as chief mission officer.
While at the VA, he oversaw the deployment of $1.4 billion in CARES Act funds to update VA’s technology environment in response to COVID-19. That included efforts related to telemedicine, remote work and other veteran-focused applications.
Brubaker’s service at VA also included a stint as deputy CIO for strategic information of emerging concepts. His career in industry includes executive roles at Cisco, SI International and Litton PRC.
Granicus
Courtney Bromley has joined the civic engagement technology provider as senior vice president for its U.S. federal unit and strategic partnerships function.
The 354-year market veteran was elected to Granicus’ board of directors during the summer and now oversees the push to drive growth across public sector accounts.
She most recently worked as CEO of artificial intelligence company Voyager Labs and spent the first three decades of her career at IBM in multiple leadership positions.
Maxar Intelligence
The space technology company’s business focused on geospatial insights has welcomed three industry veterans to its C-level leadership team.
Matt Santengelo joined as chief financial officer following the past eight as chief financial officer at Forcepoint, a tenure that involved its integration with former parent Raytheon in 2015-16 and 2020 sale to private equity. That period also included the 2024 carveout of Forcepoint’s public sector arm to another PE owner.
As chief space systems officer, Matt Jenkins will oversee the roadmap for Maxar’s on-orbit technology that includes its WorldView Legion 7 and 8 satellites. He most recently was head of engineering for Kuiper’s government solutions team.
In the chief product officer role, Peter Wilczynski will lead the work to build more artificial intelligence-powered software offerings from Maxar’s imagery. He most recently spent 10 years at Palantir, where he was the product lead for its Gotham intelligence and operations platform.
PBG Consulting
Ashequl “Ashe” Hoque has joined the digital transformation and IT modernization provider as president amid its evolution from small business status to the mid-tier.
The two-decade market veteran most recently worked as co-chief executive at Ambit, which was acquired by DMI in 2022. At PBG, he will focus on operations and scaling the company.
PBG Consulting is a women-owned small business led by Pawla Ghaleb, its founder and CEO.
Sonar
Nathan Jones has joined the provider of code quality and security software as vice president of federal government sales.
Sonar designed its product line to help software developers analyze all code as part of quality checks to ensure issues are resolved before production. The company touts NASA as a user, along with the Homeland Security and Justice departments.
Jones 25-year career in the federal market includes two decades at Red Hat. Most recently, he worked as vice president and general manager of worldwide public sector and government affairs at TaxBit.
Tria Federal
Diana Ceban has joined the midsized technology and advisory services provider as executive vice president for its military and veteran health business.
That role puts her in charge of Tria’s work with the Defense and Veterans Affairs departments.
Most recently, the two-decade market veteran worked as vice president and health market leader at Science Applications International Corp. Her career also includes stops at OST, Digicon and Marriott International.
Voyager Space
Matt Magaña has joined the spaceflight and exploration company as executive vice president of national security, a role that will involve U.S. and allied programs.
The two-decade market veteran most recently led RTX’s Blue Canyon Technologies subsidiary as chief executive for three years. Prior to that, he spent 14 years at the parent company in other space leadership roles.
Voyager Space specializes in propulsion systems, avionics platforms, cameras, optical communications and other products.
Elbit Systems of America
Two new members have joined the board of directors at Elbit America, a subsidiary of the Israel-headquartered defense technology company.
Todd Gautier most recently spent two decades at L3Harris Technologies and retired as president of its aviation systems segment. Prior to industry, he served as an aviator in the Navy for 14 years.
Scott Greene worked the majority of his four-decade career at Lockheed Martin, having retired as executive vice president of the missiles and fire control segment.
